Books
Create the reusable book configuration that controls format and allowed page count.
Books
Open Catalogues → Picture Books and select Add new. A book is the reusable configuration assigned to one or more Shopware products.
Book information
| Field | Purpose |

| Name | Administration label and translatable book name. |
| Format | Square, landscape, or portrait. |
| Minimum pages | Minimum number of internal pages the customer must configure. |
| Maximum pages | Largest internal page count the customer can build. |
| Description | Optional translatable text for internal use or future presentation. |
Use the language switcher to maintain translated name and description values. Save the book before assigning pages or products.
Page count planning
The book builder treats a double-page spread as two pages. Choose minimum and maximum values that suit the print product. The customer must fill every currently visible slot; adding rows increases the required selection, up to the configured maximum.
The book’s Pages tab lists templates assigned to it. It is a review view; create and edit the templates in the Picture Book Pages module.
