Quick start

1. Create a book

Open Catalogues → Picture Books and create a book. Give it a name, choose its format, and set the minimum and maximum number of internal pages.

2. Create page templates

Open Catalogues → Picture Book Pages. Create front-cover, back-cover, and normal-page templates. Add an image and price to every template, then assign each template to the book.

Create enough normal pages to satisfy the book’s minimum-page count. Add double-page templates only when the book should offer full-width spreads.

3. Assign the book to a product

Open the Shopware product, select the created book in the Picture Book field, and save. Optionally enable the product’s picture-book name field.

4. Test the storefront

Open the product page. Select both covers and fill every required internal page slot. Confirm that the buy button becomes enabled only after all visible slots are filled and the minimum is reached. Add it to the cart and verify the calculated total.

Finish with an account order and test the PDF export from its line item.
