PDF catalogues

Shop The Look can turn a PDF catalogue into an interactive storefront flipbook.

Prepare the PDF

Use a final, customer-ready PDF. Keep the page size and visual quality consistent. Large PDFs and high export resolution create more image data, so test the first conversion before publishing a large catalogue.

Create the catalogue

Create a catalogue in the Shop The Look administration module, upload the PDF and define its availability date range when appropriate. The plugin splits the PDF into page images for the flipbook experience.

Configure the storefront

Add a Shop The Look catalogue element or catalogue-list block to a Shopping Experience layout. Select the catalogue or relevant list, save the layout and assign it to the intended storefront location.

Expiry

Catalogues can have a date range. The plugin includes a scheduled task for expired catalogue handling, so date-sensitive campaign catalogues do not remain visible indefinitely.

Troubleshooting conversion quality

If text is difficult to read, increase the PDF image export resolution gradually. If conversion is slow or the generated media is too large, reduce the resolution. PHP Imagick must be available on the server.
