Shop The Look

Troubleshooting

Solve common Shop The Look installation, PDF and storefront issues.

Troubleshooting

Use this checklist before opening a support request. It covers the most common causes of missing scenes, unavailable CMS content and PDF conversion problems.

A CMS element is not available

Check that the plugin is installed and active, then clear the Shopware cache. Reload the Shopping Experiences editor after the cache is cleared. If the element is still missing, verify that the Shopware version meets the plugin requirement.

A scene does not appear in the storefront

Check that the CMS layout is assigned to the correct category or landing page. Then open the CMS element configuration and confirm that a scene is selected. Finally, confirm that the scene image exists and the linked products are active in the current sales channel.

PDF pages are not generated

The server needs the PHP Imagick extension (ext-imagick) to convert PDF pages into flipbook images. Confirm it is installed and enabled for the PHP version used by Shopware.

Also check that the server process can write to the Shopware media storage. If conversion was started before Imagick was available, upload the PDF again or recreate the catalogue after fixing the server configuration.

The flipbook looks blurry

Increase the X and Y PDF image export resolution in the plugin configuration, then upload or generate the catalogue again. Increase it gradually: a very high resolution makes files larger and can slow down conversion and initial page loading.
